The Pfeiffer University Women's Basketball program is committed to excellence both on the court and in the classroom. Under the leadership of Head Coach Vontreece Hayes, the Falcons continue to establish themselves as one of the rising programs in the USA South Conference. During the 2025-26 season, Pfeiffer recorded its first winning season since joining the conference, earned the opportunity to host a first-round USA South Tournament game, and ranked among the conference leaders in steals and forced turnovers. The Falcons also received national recognition for their relentless defensive style, finishing 11th in NCAA Division III in steals per game and 13th in forced turnovers per game. Individual success was highlighted by junior Ava Hairston earning First Team All-Conference honors and senior Miya Horton receiving Second Team All-Conference recognition.
Building on the momentum of last season, the Falcons remain committed to developing student-athletes both as players and as individuals while fostering a culture defined by toughness, grit, family, pride, and relentless effort. Returning standout Ava Hairston, the 2024 USA South Rookie of the Year and a 2025 First Team All-Conference selection, continues to lead the program after ranking among the conference leaders in scoring and steals. With a strong foundation in place, Pfeiffer Women's Basketball is focused on continuing its growth and competing for championships while providing a transformational student-athlete experience.
Your support in 2026-27, through a Falcon Club Membership gift to the women's basketball program, will play a vital role in enhancing the student-athlete experience. Contributions will help fund team apparel and gear, establish a refuel station with snacks and hydration options for practices, games, and the locker room, and provide additional resources that support the development, well-being, and success of our student-athletes. Every gift helps ensure that Pfeiffer Women's Basketball continues to build on its success and provide a championship-level experience both on and off the court.
