Men's Cross County and Track & Field

About

The Pfeiffer University Cross Country and Track & Field programs are committed to excellence both in competition and in the classroom. Under the leadership of Head Coach Robert Marchinko, the Falcons continue to build a culture centered on hard work, accountability, and the pursuit of excellence. Guided by the program's motto, Be Intentionally Different, student-athletes are challenged to grow through every practice, workout, and competition while representing Pfeiffer University with pride.

The men's program enters the season with high expectations after capturing the USA South Conference Championship and earning a national ranking of No. 28 by D3 Glory. Returning standouts Austin Drewery, Cannon Powell, Bricen Burleson, Alim Coleman, and Isaiah Watts provide experienced leadership as the Falcons look to defend their conference title and continue establishing themselves among the nation's top Division III programs. A talented incoming class, including Aiden Edwards, Chase Tompkins, and Cole Usery, adds depth and excitement for the season ahead. Meanwhile, the women's team brings together a strong blend of veteran leadership and emerging talent as the program continues to make strides within the conference.

Building on recent success, the Falcons remain focused on pursuing championships while fostering a culture that emphasizes teamwork, resilience, personal growth, and competitive excellence. Every mile, workout, and race presents an opportunity for student-athletes to develop as competitors and individuals while contributing to the proud tradition of Pfeiffer Cross Country and Track & Field.

Your support in 2026-27, through a Falcon Club Membership gift to the cross country and track & field programs, will play a vital role in enhancing the student-athlete experience. Contributions will help fund championship rings for the 2026 USA South Men's Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championship teams, support team travel expenses for the 2027 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and provide additional resources that contribute to the continued growth and success of the program. Every gift helps ensure that Pfeiffer student-athletes have the opportunity to compete at the highest level while creating lifelong memories and championship experiences.
